Something not working as expected? Write to us before leaving a review. It is the fastest route to a fix: we can reply, ask for details and tell you when it ships. None of that is possible through an App Store rating.
Reporting a problem
To get to the bottom of it quickly, tell us if you can:
- your iPhone model and iOS version;
- the tab you were in (
calc,dec,hexorbin) and the word size, 32 or 64 bits; - the keys you pressed, in order, and what you expected instead.

Suggesting an improvement
A missing function, a detail that annoys you, a setting you wish existed: tell us. The best ideas come from people who use the application every day.
A few answers straight away
Why does the keypad refuse some digits? In hex and bin, only the digits of the active base are offered, and bin accepts nothing but 0 and 1. It is deliberate: an impossible entry cannot be typed.
Why does 200 + 10 % = give 220? DevCalc follows the convention of a simple calculator: the percentage applies to the first operand. In the same way, 200 × 10 % = gives 20, and 50 % on its own gives 0.5.
My ribbon reset on its own. An automatic AC clears the calculation after a period of inactivity, one hour by default. The delay is adjustable from 5 minutes to 24 hours, or can be switched off entirely, in Settings.
Why is there no 32/64-bit selector in dec? The dec tab always works in 64 bits. The selector appears in hex and bin, where the width of the word is what you are actually reasoning about.
Is my data sent anywhere? No. DevCalc has no network code at all. See the privacy policy.
